Located at CDO’s Golf Estate, the house stands on a tapered lot with its shorter side facing the street at west and the longer side facing the golf course at east.

 

The approach from the street is characterized by a composition of primarily blank walls which  provides visual privacy from the street side and also shields the interior spaces from the harsh afternoon sun at west.   

 

A flat cantilever canopy covers the 3-car garage and extends as a linear pedestrian canopy leading to the main entry door.  Upon entry to the large timber doors, guests pass through a tunnel-like central corridor and emerge to a high-ceiling  open living space with a spectacular view of the golf course.

 

A glass-enclosed office space  is positioned at the south west corner close to the main entry door.  The master bedroom is strategically isolated to the north side  and is accessed through a concealed door and hallway tucked from the central corridor. 

 

From the high-ceiling living space, a  feature steel-timber-glass staircase leads to the upper level private spaces and projecting balconies that frame beautiful golf course scenery.
